will there be any difference with or with out governor on this motor and if there is any benefit to a cvt over centrifugal clutch

well its running still have rpm issues can i put a tach on this toy story said that 4 " 1 would not work what will also am still good with centrifagul clutch i am looking at geting a 60 tooth drive same tires does this 2stroke ever wind out

fowler you were talking engagment speed this thing idle speed 2000 have had it rev out full speed did not self destruct for 3 miutes would say min would be 10000 had to shut down only because was vibrating off stand sugestions

also 1'' shaft out of motor but turned down 5/8 end shaft plan to build up rest of shaft so i have 2 1/ 2'' took 5 hrs to mount this engine it was out of a snow thrower

I very much doubt you were spinning 10K for three minutes. And if you were, you must want a new engine. 'Cause you're gonna need one if you keep that up. Number one rule to running ungoverned- Do NOT free-rev the engine at WOT without a load!

was not my intent have rivals in this garage do not believe in two stroke power motor. survived even fellow carters are on this want to discouraged 2 stroke power but if went too 60 tooth driven on centrifugal 13 could i show these guy carts handle much better with bigger driven gear i want more hole shot longest straight away 1/4 mile bad turns need more power this motor will be pulled apart again still have to work crank to fit cvt or centrifugal what do you think would be better off the motor this motor does not have head only barrel and head combined no head bolts when this motor is done it is done bottom end the only separate piece

guy s in this club do not like my idea of two strokes the one guy reved out my motor for 3min had to push away all i want to know if i went too 60tooth off driven is that compatible to this motor with a 13 tooth gear off the motor max rpm is going to be 8000 hey toy story where is this diygk build off i am interested
