Working on the odyssey 250 project. Put a 2007 mxz440x racing motor in it. Getting to the part to add the coffin gas tank, radiator and seat. Coming along good. Any suggestions or advice? constructive criticism welcome. looking for a fender solution for rear tires. had to use 2.5" spacers. How it look otherwise?

Basically and very thing but the can is the expansion chamber. If you reshaped it without shortening the chamber then you didn't cause a restriction in the chamber, the length of the pipe plays the largest role in where the power band is.

Yeah ill get a ton of pics transferred from phone. I have a pic of all the steps, welding the redneck motor mount to modifying exhaust. I added a few chrome pieces from a 50's car thought it would add a nice touch now I cant keep putting chrome on it you should see it now! My dad is a "Junker" and 90% of this was built from scraps he picked up. Its cool having an old man work at a body shop too and get custom paint mixed. I shoulda had him teach me welding cause my welds on this are horrific! Picked up frame and cage for 100$ and the 07MXZ440 race motor for 600 not bad for a 700 go kart!

Also 99.9% you have a Tripple E cage. Thats what 50% of the racers used in the 80's. You have Challenger and Tripple E companies making race stuff for the Ody's in the 80's.

Awesome I really like the side tubes that stick out wide its sick I might add those. I actually watched your videos while building they were very helpful I like the trans clutch widen mod. You've inspired my build.

u mean the bars that stick out between the wheels on each side?

they are nerf bars and they stop the buggys locking wheels during a race

if yours is an ex racer then it would have had some at one point

they also doulbe as a place to stick a jerry can if u are going on a long trip

The Tripple E did have nerf bars. You can still see the mounts on your cage. Well two of them anyway. Notice the bar behind the seat? Your nerf bar slides into that. I will see if I can find pic of tripple e cage.

Also looking at the this cage you may have room for your seat.

I am not sure. I do know Tripple E is still making mini buggies today. Try the web site.

Confirm you do have tripple E first though. I think you do but people copy them.
