Looking to get a cart/kart in the near future. I'm not really sure if I want to get a racing chassis or a more traditional yard cart/kart frame. The kart/cart would be just for fun, that is racing with another fella from Church. The desired surface would be both asphalt and a crude dirt track (both oval and non-oval). I do know that I want to stay away from the larger buggy outfits.

Desired ride: Adult comfortable, single seat, need for speed, reasonable priced. Did I mention speed? :)

I've noticed both the overpriced and undervalued options available on Craigslist, but haven't narrowed anything down as of yet. Informed advice and or suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. For a reasonably priced kart, I would have a look on CL for a rolling chassis and build it up from there. You can put on a Predator 202cc and with a few small mods like govenor removal free flow exhaust and air filter you can get quite a few more HP out of it. A Torque Converter would also help out a lot. Much better than a centrifugal clutch.

Have a look around on the forum and post up some pics of karts that you think look cool, and we can then help you look for something
