Hello all! I've got an old John Deere LA 115 that I'd like to convert to a kart using the existing frame and components if possible. Any thoughts or plans out there? Thanks!

Look at race lawn tractors. That's essentially what they do. They usually drop the mower down to about 2-4 inches off the ground, live axle rear end.

Welcome to the forum!! I don't know of any plans at all, but you might be better off asking someone at a lawn tractor forum? I'm not trying to chase you away, and I hope you post your build here, but maybe go over to http://www.atltf.com/ and ask the same questions
