Its more like a dune buggy that I would like to build. The engine I have on hand is and from a chevy s10. Its not currently working. The truck is a 1994. The engine isn't working but with alittle work I could get it to work. What I want help on is the frame and axles that can withstand that much power. I'm just guessing its not educated but I'm saying itsaround 200 hp.what material for the frame would I need to use? I have the frame design down. This is going to be a fun build to try.

Sorry I don't know where this would go.

for the frame your gonna need Liquidmetal and Vitreloy!
For the tires, I say use dead animal hide just because it last longer and is good for all that weight!

Before you waste time trying to build a frame, spend some time getting the engine running.

If you can't get it running it won't matter anyway.

well i know the frame is going to be about 2k. so i am just going to get the engine running first. what we think is wrong is the timing it will turn over but not start.

if possible im going to make it street legal. in essence its just going to be a shorter truck with lights turn signals and a horn. just no body.

Well nothing so far as i dont have a job to fund this project. It shouldnt take that long to get the truck running once when i start on it as it should just be jumped timing. i will get back to you guys as soon as more progress is made in this build

Right. Meanwhile, if you have something to add, by all means add it. If another user has something to say, they'll post it. Please do not go about bumping the thread for the sake of bumping it. Thank you.
