I no this is not a go kart question or nothing like that.
Here we go well, does anybody no if the honda mtx125 as the same engine as the honda nsr125.All it is, is that i can get a mtx125 for very cheap today and it runs mint the guy said.Ive seen a little video of it running and riding.The mtx 125 needs painting up thats it.I had a nsr125 years ago and i can remember it being rapid for a 125 and im just wondering if this mtx125 as same engine as nsr125 because there both honda 125 engine with powervalve.Any answers will be decent and i no theres other sites for question like this but to tell you the truth i get most info what i need of this site as its a decent site

EDIT:

after a quick playing with wiki and google, the MTX is a dirtbike/motorcross based engine
the nsr is more of a street bike version..

im not 100% sure, but it looks like theres variations of the MTX such as MTX 125 R

not looking too much into it, but if its cheap, i would imagine its worth getting as long as it isnt beat and worn out kinda thing..

for the right price, id snatch it up..

but thats just me.. i realy didnt look too deeply into it..

Sorry for not replying and dragging old post up, thanks for replys there and its not same engine barrel different thats it.I bought it for £120 painted it and sold if for £280 to a local guy. i gave it a sevice, oil change, spark plug, crab and air filter clean.engine would have been mint in a go kart. like i said sorry for dragging old post up and please no one reply so it soon dissapear. thanks
