I was gifted a non running, sitting for five years outside in the weather because it was getting really sluggish Baja Dune 150. Turned out they never changed or tried to clean the air filter. Brake line leaking on front left. New battery, pulled the filter, hit it with starter fluid, jumped the solenoid (Ignition switch won't turn over the starter). She runs like a kitten. Gas in tank & carburetor smell like turpentine. Cleaned the tank, installed new in tank filter and petcock, installed new carburetor, new air filter and she runs smooth forward and backwards. Using a car start button to jump the solenoid from the drivers seat until I can figure out the starter issue. Top is missing on the electrical, air filter box cracked. Ball joints toasted. Lights don't work. What kind of adventures can I expect from this thing?? Any advice would be appreciated

And yes the Flintstone car in my pic is my first attempt at building a go cart. Electric powered

Used an electric Bafang motor and controller for the chain drive. 14" disk brake/ 32tooth sprocket on the rear barrel. Five speeds. Scary fast for a Flintstone mobile. Built my own metal frame for steering. The wood steering wheel does work
