noob with an antique briggs missing parts

Hey guys I'm new here and I just scored a kart for $30 with a clutch, old style brakes,running engine with missing throttle parts

What you have to do is measurethe distance between the teeth of the sprocket. Then have a look at the table in this link

3/8" gives you a #35 chain, and a 1/2" is a #40/#41 chain

I just took a chance and bought some #35 chain and it was right. Gotta love the old engines. I'm gonna clean this thing up and make it look brand new
