Hey y'all. I ran across this forum searching for go kart related things on Google. Figured I'd goin. I'm newer to go karts and modding them. I picked up a red Murray about 2 weeks ago and haven't stopped researching about it and go karting itself since. I also picked up another kart today from a guy for $100. I was wondering if someone could identify the make or model of the black go kart I attatched? I look forward to posting! Thanks.

wait wait wait..

is that rear end rubber cushioned and detachable from the chassis?

if so that really reminds me of a McCulloch and if so that'd be an amazing deal for 100 bucks...
I mean it looks like one to me at least.

Check google for McCulloch karts maybe you can narrow it down or rule that out at least

PS check if there's yellow paint under the black maybe ;)

What a great find. Looks to be a R1, maybe. How's the suspension holding up after 50 or so years.

Found this on the YouTube

Wow. That's great. The guy I bought it from said he knew nothing about it. I just bought it cause it looked like a nice go kart for only $100. I can tell the steering has been mocked up a little. Atleast my steering wheel shaft doesn't go as far down to the frame as the other mcculloch go karts. Almost like they customized it for a little kid.
