Nice projects guys! Just one question about the log splitter freakboy, Whats with the braided vynal tubing on the pump?

Thats the feed from the tank into the pump... It kinda needs hose that big to feed it... its holding up good when i saw it i kinda looked at my dad crazy like but its doing good used it all day today and it was being the beast it is
