No spark shifter kart STILL!!!

Okay guys I have a shifter kart and the engine is a 140cc konker it has a inner rotor kit on it. about 3 years ago when I built it I was having no spark from the engine I found out it was the irk igniter on the inner rotor. now I got no clue why it's not sparking. Tell me if this makes sense, I put another plug in and crank it I get one spark mind u I'm only wrapping a strap around the rear wheel and pulling but when I put the original plug in it doesnt spark I tested the plug on another engine and it works fine it's actually strong I'm thinking it's the coil but then why would I get spark from the other plug. I kinda feel like if I get it outside and get a friend to help bump start it it should fire up.

Could it be that one plug needs more of a jolt to spark than the other? Why not try push or pull starting it. Tie it to the back of a lawn tractor and put the kart in 2nd or 3rd gear. Pull in the clutch, get going, then let it out to let the engine spin over. But be ready to pull in the clutch in case in fires up and wants to beat the tow vehicle.....

Yea thts what I was thinking the thing is it's in my basement and I gotta carry it all the way up the stair to outside. Because I do get spark from it sometimes. And last night I was up to 11:40 and found that the timing was off like by 4 minutes. So I set it back, just to be sure do you guys know how to set timing without the flywheel?

Okay so I found the problem it was a bad ground I'm getting continues strong spark now

okay so i took it outside today i had a friend push me while i tried to bump start it i know im getting spark. if my timing was off would that effect the engine i feel like it would still fire just not the greatest. anyone have any ideas?

If your timing is off, no, it might not start at all. Your best bet is to see if you can find a pdf that you can download. Something like a service manual. It would tell you the correct procedures....
