no spark in 90 cc polaris motor

[getting kart smart]

I am working on a 90 cc polaris motor. Gonna take it off the 4 wheeler and make a kart out of it but I can't get any spark. I don't know too much about these motors. It has a broken key switch but it has previously been bypassed. Already checked the kill switch rip cord. Seems to be in order. Does anybody have troubleshooting advice?

only thing I could think of is the magneto/coil. have you checked that? That might be overreacting....do you have a spark testor? maybe try that or try a new plug. Make sure your wires arent cracked or broken of something like that.
