Hello all, looks like a good spot for a guy that likes making anything with wheels (2 or more) Been putting together a cycle kart--loosely based on 1911 Indy 500 winner, Marmon Wasp.
Got it to point of terrorizing the neighborhood, bout ready to tear down for finish work.
Thinking of a 2 seater, maybe with peerless transaxle like a side by side lawn tractor design for long range desert patrols with company on board.
Lots for me to find out about this idea for sure...glad to be here...Tom

That is one heck of a cycle kart. Fantastic.

Those are definitely something I can appreciate as it doesn't matter what era anything wheeled and motorized represents, for me.

Comet 30 CVT, gearing is 12:60 for 35 MPH. wheels are Honda 90's with 3/4" axle ball bearings...mostly standard go kart axles/spindles, steering. 6.5 HP 212cc. Strong & kids & grandkids love it...Tom

Pretty much if its got wheels and a small engine we find it cool.
Especially if it is DIY!
