put some anti seize on that to be sure, and not like 180 psi, i only put about 45 in the tank,

Depending on the wrench, thats still enough to screw something up (excuse the pun)

I eyeballed the center and then used a punch to make the mark. Then i started working my way up with different sized drill bits. To my surprise it came out very straight.

I take a small engines course in my high school and they have plenty of engines to take parts out of. That is why i was not to worried about drilling it crook-it. Otherwise i would have made something to fit over the shaft to make sure it was straight. There is a couple of guys on "old mini bikes" forum that make and sell piece that fits over the shaft (if your interested).

I do not have pics but will take some tomorrow.

Snug with Loctite Blue 242 is more than enough.
Anti seize lube is not necessary and should be avoided, unless it is under the most adverse of conditions.

i just stuff rope into the cylinder and use blue loctite, somewhere around 200 in/lbs.
