This is a dongfang 200. Got it free from a buddy, just needed a few parts. This particular wire under the gauge cluster is constantly hot yet no clue where it's supposed to go. I don't see any other place it could connect. Any ideas? I can't get power to the starter without jumping the solenoid but that's been replaced with a good functioning one. Any help appreciatedView attachment 153029

I am having the same problem

You're reading a duplicate (or triplicate) thread that he posted asking the same question. I think it was because the forum at that time was having some read/reply issues and he didn't get any responses, but regardless, I think he solved it in the other thread here: https://www.diygokarts.com/community/threads/no-clue-on-this-connection.49608/

Most of these karts/buggies are stored outdoors or with minimal protection from weather and moisture. Technically you shouldn't own one if you don't have a shelter that has 4 walls and a roof for it, but you must ensure that all wiring is kosher and good-to-go. The "car" wiring on these Chinese buggies gives me nightmares! :worried2:

I noticed, when making a new topic, you would click 'submit' and it would give you that error page but it still posted the thread. So whoever was making the thread would think it did not post because of the error, click back, and resubmit it... I think I did that twice, myself.
