ninja powered 250cc crossfire

hi everyone im from texas. I picked up a crossfire 150r with plans to shove in a ninja 250 5 speed. I plan to add all safety requirements get a vin issued and title it as a dune buggy and make her street legal.
I plan to add dot approved tires, hi/lo beams, horn, all mirrors, brake light, turn signals and running lights. it has disk brakes in the front and in the back so a pressure switch will work great plan to use all electronics from the ninja where it comes to the horn and all associated lighting. heres a pic of the crossfire its all stock, but about to change.

That is one sweet kart. Have you made sure that after doing al that work you will be able to register your buggy. A lot of places just flatly refuse to do it, no matter what.

yea you might want to look into that before you do all that. check with the local office and see if they will accept a dune buggy. but its going to be a sweet ride none the less

id def check with the local cops
but lights and a brake light are a good thing to fit to a buggy anyhow
the easier u are to see in the dunes the better

a sugestion i can make is to take the engine off the swing arm
it will improve ride comfort and handling

Are you adding independent rear suspension? or keeping it the same because id assume it would be easier to mount the engine that way(and safer) just lock up the swingarm and brace it to the chassis ive heard Geo front ends work really well for those kind of setups
