Ok so in this video the man bas the same exact go kart wheels, etc. So im installing the torque converter on friday, and the man in the video explained he needed to move the sprocket. My sprocket is in the same location as him, but dont know how to move it. Also can i just leave the sprocket where it is, and just shorten the chain how much it needs to?

I think those guys are onto something. Maybe small engine motorsports (hobbysports?), go karting and all that, just isn't your game?

Either that or get in good with a gearhead buddy and make him do all the wrenching.

Otherwise, just dive in and don't expect the instant gratification you get with your smart phone, mang. :D

In other news, new guy (or girl?) xhebrailduka has become the Thread King.

As long as your two sprockets aren't trying to be in the same place (because physics and all), just line them up and make the chain the right length.

If the sprockets are going to bash into each other, see if you can index the torque converter bracket differently, such as pointing straight down. Those clowns at cars and cameras did a Murray like that, with the TC pointed straight down, chain drive to the original jackshaft.

I will continue being the thread king until i become an expert

I'm just busting your balls, dude. All in good fun and don't ever take it the wrong way, now. You're fine by me and thanks for the personal info.

Being so busy, you GOT TO have some fun down-time so it turns out you're doing that part RIGHT.

Carry on, man carry on. :D

Post a picture of the rear sprocket so we can see how it's attached. You will probably need to slide it left or right to align it.

I made a mistake, i misunderstood him. I thought he said to completely move it, but now i know you just gotta slide it either left or right.
