I have been planning a go kart for a while, and wanted to run my few ideas through the community before I did something wrong. I was thinking of this motor: http://alienpowersystem.com/shop/brushless-motors/c80100-outrunner-brushless-motor-130kv-7000w/ and this controller: http://alienpowersystem.com/shop/esc/alien-200a-3-16s-evolution-3-esc-hv-sensored/ I have chosen these mainly because of the overkill ratings(I think), since I wanted the kart to go fast.
Edit: I also wanted a slight budget side of the build, so I didn't go too far overkill. I also have some experience with r/c cars, as I do that as a hobby when I feel like fixing something to see another thing break.
