hi folks . not sure if im in the right place for the entrance but if i am.....i am 52 years old. I raced for 2 years on a dirt oval track in the 4 banger class . ( about 20 years ago ) . im still a kid a heart and still have that competitive side. i have been checking out what you guys have going on here and a fellow could really learn a lot from yall and i thank you all as well. well recently my nephew which is in his 20 s called me up to let me know he had plans on building a go-cart track and wanted to get a group of guys together to do some saturday night racing and maybe even a points thing and gave me an invite . Well some say i might be too old for this but i say God also made a place where the sun dont shine for unwanted old jokes . So just let me fly. Life is too short to go through it without doing something that makes you happy as long as the money permits....lol i am mechanically inclined so im gona let yall know whats on my mind in case someone wants to offer some good advice and any helpful hints because im a long long way from knowing it all.... Sorry. . lol..I have been doing a little research and i plan to build me from a new Predator 212 a racing motor around a cam with a 285 lift are the 308. i have built small engines before just never anything but stock...... well i guess i have bored yall enough , looking forward to chatin with you guys

Sounds like fun. You guys should have "some" engine rule. even though it is just some buddies racing in the yard. What fun is it if 1 guy always wins cause he can out spend on Motor.
