Hello all. My 9yr old son and I are new to the go cart game. We saw a discontinued Sting Ray kit on Northern Tool. Is there still anything like that out there we can buy as a kit? He really wants us to build one. Thanks everyone in advance for the input.

So youre wanting to 'make' a kart? Or were you just wanting to 'work/build' on one(ALOTTA math involved w/ 'making' one... even w/ a kit)... reason I ask is most on here will suggest CList karts and 'improve' on it... instead of creating and making... then possibly having to 'improve' on it anyways... guess it depends your locationing/will power/patience/eagerness.

Welcome to the forum. You can still buy the Azusa kart kit, but I know it is a bit small. Definately for a kid

I don't think I've ever seen a two seater in kit form; off the top of my head, I don't even recall any two seater plans apart from the one on the main page...

I think your best bet (unless you want to build from scratch) is to find something on craigslist or other classifieds...
