Newbie Wiring Diagram

Hi all,
Well this is my first question on this forum, so please go easy on a Newbie.

My son bought an old Go Kart which has a Strimmer engine attached to it. Now unfortunately there is no wiring with this Kart so i'm having to start from scratch.
The engine has a pully but without the Pullstart, it looks like it has been used as an electric start. The problem is i have got no ideas what wires go where!!!
Does anyone have a wiring diagram they could post or send which would give me some idea on where to get started.

Wiring Help

Ok, so i've managed to find a wiring diagram, but need some help on where to put the battery in this loop.

I have placed to images up with this post, 1 is the engine i have and the 2nd the wiring layout.

What i need to know is where in the loop to place the battery and what the Blue/White wire is for...

what size engine is that? like to be about maybe 30cc. also what type of engine? strimmer engine didnt really come up with anything

My son's X7 pocketbike engine is like that Its a 49cc and the electric starter is in the pull starter cable area and doesnt work as well. Pull start is the way to go we moded this engine to go 49mph

1 mph per cc...thats just awesome....how does it hold together??? just wondering,,I would think that the mods required to make it go almost 50 mph would be so xtreme that it would break often..
