That sounds like an awesome combination, should be scary fast!
Are you going to get into kartracing at a track or just use it for fun on streets/parking lots and stuff?

You should probably post your question on a racers forum like this one: http://karting.4cycle.com/

(I'd post it in their general discussion section. Include the links to any pics and they'll probably want to know how many hours are on that engine since the last rebuild/top-end and who did any mods/blueprinting type work on the engine if you know or can find out)

A 126cc Parilla alone sells for close to $3k.
Sounds too good to be true.
My guess is it is probably (considering low price) in need of a complete rebuild.

I didn't know Parrilla ever manufactured a 126cc. engine, please supply a link with info about that.

Well then bad guess, the $1200 price of the OP's 2004-era kart and engine is actually about normal. Here's a couple very similar kart/engines for sale from one of my local tracks classified section. One even claims to have a fresh Parrilla:

What is your experience with karting?

He probably wont even notice your question, so I'll field it for him here:

He buys, sells and repairs go karts every day for a living. He's also a very knowledgeable friend of mine that races karts at a couple tracks.

Since you brought up the subject, whats your experience with 2004-era Parrilla TAG engines and Trackmagic chassis besides your quick google search?

He is a legend? I seen his vids.

Why the **** are you sucking up to Russ and picking on a newbie? If you got a problem with Don Qui posting those video threads, I'll clue you in that I know of at least one guy here (me) that thinks you continually posting all your threads and pics can seem a bit over done at times too...

I think you've always been a cool helpful guy here in the past, but I cant stand anyone that picks on a newbie that's done nothing wrong, whether it be a friend of mine or not.

I have delt with the kart market in other states as well and have done my research. Take a look at my profile if you would like to see what experience i have.
