Just bought my first used kart and it needs some work. Are all 285s the same? Where do I find the actual model # on the kart. Are all parts for all models the same? Needs band brake and centrifugal clutch. Is there a better clutch? Is there a best site for parts? This is going to be fun! :wai:

Hi Rick, and welcome! Start a thread on your kart in the GoKart Discussion section. We have some very knowledgeable folks here, including one of our Moderators who calls a kart shop home. I'm quite sure you'll get the answers you need.

Tyres

Yeah those tyres are a bit skinny aren't they my manco's front tyres are alot wider than them also with them being thinner they wont provide you with as much grip.
