Newbie here! With years of welding and metal work..I have developed intrest in building an off road go kart using a motorbike engine..looking for plans...

Welcome, best bet would to sit back and watch all the different youtube builds, try crosscart or crosskart as search

spyder Karts....the best...the plans are so specific you can't mess up......arachnid for single seat....Granddaddy for 2 seater.....go to spyder carts .com.....plans,,,and I mean complete are about $45.00 and well worth it. Although for an adult (6 ft.) I added about 10 inches to overall length.

Do any of you guys know if a Tillotson 212e would be enough to run a Arachnid go kart a still have quite a bit of torque?

Better off starting your own thread. But to answer your question, if you used a
30 series torque converter with that engine it would be plenty.
