Whats going on guys and gals.

Datshotdoehoe here. Just wanted to introduce myself and explain why I joined up.

So first off a little about me. I'm 20 years old, I have a daughter with my girlfriend of 5 years. I work as a sales consultant in NC. Currently I have 5 vehicles. A 97 Firebird (my baby). 5.3 Engine built (internals), Cam, heads, intake, NOS, and wanting a roots blower but to be determined. Also have a 00 civic manual (DD) bone stock, '13 elantra GT manual, '74 Beetle (restored and bone stock) and last but not least 2014 Kawasaki ninja. By the way to clarify in case anyone thinks it, #notsponsoredbymommyanddaddy. I work for my s*** lol!

So I have been doing some research into building a go cart from the ground up. I have acquired an old youth single seat go kart from a buddy for free. It's pretty beat up. I plan on cutting it, extending frame, and adding suspension. As far as drive train, Predator 212cc with Cam, head, lifters, springs, gov delete, flywheel, and clutch upgrades. I will be posting pics along the way of this build this winter and hopefully it will be operational by feb/march of '16.

Any input/tips/help etc as to what I should do with my build is greatly appreciated! Cheers!

heres a tip, never let your girlfriend park her car in the garage. it always must be full of projects. My wife has come to accept this and our marriage has gotten so much better now that she has given up all hope of ever parking in the garage again.

Welcome! This is the place for all things go kart and everything in the gray area.
Oh and I SECOND the " No Cars in a Garage " rule. Unless they are the project. That is why we have carports.
