just got my first go cart -Manco quicksilver, its a couple of years old. It stalled, then when I went to pull start it, the Kart wasn't in "neutral" (I have a torque converter) and it kept engaging with the motor. so I took the cover off the converter, put it on blocks and started the kart, reved it up and the coverter "released" the belt and I was back in the ball game. Long story short - is there any maintenance that I should be doing on the Comet Torgue converter? Any other things I should be doing to maintain my kart?

Rotore - you right, I just broke the spring. Is this a fix for a newbie/knob or do I need to get some help from the local Manco guy? I have the new spring and ramps, but based on some of the posts, its seems like a pretty tough job...any advice?
