I have Hammer Head GTS 150 for the kids to play around on. It is about 3-4 years old and we have never had any issues. Kids were out giving it a workout and when they went over some pretty small jumps we started to notice a clunking noise coming from the back.

We were unable to ride it after that so I have pushed it into the garage.

I have since checked the CVT and belt and there are no issues there.

I have traced what I believe to be the issue to the transmission drive shaft. This is the shaft where the drive chain is attached to the sprocket and then attaches to the sprocket on the rear drive axle.

Aside from tearing apart the rear end, is there any advice as to the next step? I am not sure if there is an internal part that is broken or if something perhaps is just out of adjustment.

I tried to add a video to help explain.

Thanks in advance.

you may have stripped some teeth off one of the gears or the silent chain stretched out and is skipping over the sprocket. probably have to crack the case see whats going on inside.

Any good videos on splitting the case open?

Oh and correct me if I am incorrect but my assumption is that the shaft should spin at a constant speed with no "neural" spots correct.
