Well, first, my name is Jody Michielsen. I live in Atlanta NY and have a wife and three kids. As y username suggests, I love to tinker. Mostly on tractors etc. So, Yup, weeding through and selling many tractor parts. Well, two little guys in the local nieghborhood wanted me to find them something. Being such a great guy and all(toot toot) I had to bring this home today for them. Now they will have thier own 1:1 to work on with daddy. I have a nice 16 HP that might go in here? Already pulled a fiero seat out and grabbed a seat belt. Have to redesign the front slightly so the seat can slide forward and backwards so it can be kid and big kid friendly LOL. Right now they are a tad too small to reach them pedals. The guy believes this was used in the 60's on a dirt track. It does show some signs of hard use wich I will have to beat out and reweld. No big deal for me. Its just like a big model! ROTFLMBO! I cant wait to test this thing out later this summer! Will be a little time. I have to wait for the rebuild kit to come in first. Then I have to find a new starter/generator. Already snagged a old kart custom stearing wheel with the holes driled in! Woohoo! Kids are already starting to think of new colors for it! LOL.

Neat little beast, welcome to the forum. I noticed your model references- are you into building scale models? I used to be a member over at Scale Auto, but I'm giving it a break. Too many hobbies!

Can you post some better pics of the steering and axle setups?

Is that a roll bar? Rule of thumb is is no roll bar no seat belt. It's better to be tossed from the kart if it has no roll bar.

Would really like to see some better pics. Looks really cool friend.

Yes, I enjoy building models. Slowly getting out of it after many years though for the same reason. Between the boat and the Pinto and the Kart as well as my tinkering on things for other people, I just dont have the time. Besides, selling them off has helped to fund both bills and new tools! LOL. I do plan on building a front roll bar set up for it and a seat belt. Belt will also coe from the fiero. LOL> Thanks.

I just can't bring myself to sell a model. I'd hate myself!

The Fiero seat (built-in speakers?) is going to be rather heavy- can I dissuade you from using it?
