Newbie, Bel Air,MD home built

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased a home built chassis that I am looking to rebuild. Needs all the welds redone. I would like to make this an offroad machine with a Predator 420.
It currently has:
16x7.5-8 Carlisle Turf Master Front
20x10-8 Carlisle Turf Saver Rear

I think I want:
18x7.5-8 4 Carlisle Turf Saver for front
22x10-8 Carlisle All Trail for the Rear

I have questions to what shocks, Predator 420 Mods, and gearing.

Please let me know what you think.

no I just want as much ground clearance as possible. I figured that since the width isn't different I should be ok. Do you think the Predator 420 would be powerful enough to power the kart with a 250lb. driver?

A 5 horse would pull it just fine if geared right.

I would really like to go fast. Would you suggest not using the 420?

That looks like a 40 series driven. 420 should be fine.

I just took off the wheels, hubs, spindles. The bearings in the hubs (5 lug) fell out. How would I go about determining what bearings to get? Or do I need to replace the hubs?
