Well this is going to be quite the challenge for you.
I havent really read this thread all that well, but how are your welding skills?
A stick for thin tube is going to make more bird ****e than is necessary to hold something together.
It isnt completely useless, but it will make things very difficult. I would recommend doing some research on welding and fabrication on this site. You will see what people have to say about certain things like welders, materials and parts.
I bid you good luck, and hope to see what you come up with.

That looks like a ramp. Like a mechanics ramp t drive the car up on and work on it.

Nothing is simple.
You are going to need Square tube at the minimum at your level, also Some bicycle parts for the head tube, the bars and possibly the forks. Thats a start.(depending on you design).
I see what you were thinking with the ramp, but unless your set on it, get some new metal.
I would strongly suggest(I believe it was also mentioned) that you do some research on what exactly you are tying to build and look into that, then flesh out the particulars of the vehicles design.
See how they are constructed, what is the construction. Look at parts materials and all the little bits that your going to need.

Strong enough to hold you doesn't mean it'll be safe to ride. My advice is slow down and do some research. Right now I'm afraid you're headed for some sheet time.
I rolled the go kart frame down the hill with wheels on and there's so many problems with wieght and all that.so I have decided I want to stick with working on my mini bike and so I'm going to make a new forum page on the mini bike forum please feel free to find it I its going to still be called “newbie and I need help”
