Newb question about the 212 engine.

The mounting dimensions are 6.40" L x 2.95" W - 3.17" W.


Is the 3.17" from top to bottom bolt, 2.95" across from two bolts, and then 6.40" diagonally?


Trying to find out if it'll mount on my kart today.

The holes are slots, and will fit a width of 2.95 to 3.17. There is no diagonal measurement.
