Just picked up a pair of Scorpion? karts for my daughter and I with GX200's. The price was right and just rebuilt the carbs to get them running.
Yes, they are super heavy, but bumping is half the fun. The plan is to run them in the field- disc the turf and pack it down into a packed dirt track. I know that this is not the ideal environment for the karts but it's what we have.
Any suggestions for improving the smile factor are greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Mike

I don't want to suggest removal of certain things designed to make the karts "safer", so I won't.

@ezcome-ezgo I do not want to remove the bumpers, everything else is fair game. The reason for buying these was for the bumping, or I would have just got a yard-kart. I am considering removing half of the rubber cushions but not sure saving 10 lbs. on a 500 lb. kart will get me very far. If I can find enough 10 lb. savings, then it all adds up.
