yeah he might, seems a few "special" people already have them, Leatherman even gave one to a customer that lives near their factory, just because he walked into the retail store just before Mother's Day to get one for his spouse and they weren't available yet, I'll post a few videos in a min

I know several sites say $150 but try to order from any of them (BACKORDERED). Cabela's will have in June, Leatherman.com and other fine retailers in August.... that's straight from the horse's mouth

:smiley_omg: I like leathermans as much as the next guy but not as much as the guy willing to pay $200 for it.

I've had it for about 3 weeks and I basically love it. I'll do a full review soon.

Eye candy or real tool's..... Where should I spend the money??????

OSHA would shoot that thing down in a heartbeat for the exact same reason they ban ring's, bracelets, and wrist watches. That pretty much negates it's usefulness claims for me.

Then there's the fact that hand tools that actually get used have a tendency to get damaged from daily use, screw driver's especially. A quick phone call to my snap on driver confirmed it.

Then there's that price tag...... While the kit below definitely hasn't got that supposed "bling" thing, in my eyes it more than cover's that a hundred times over.....

Starting from the top is my six inch machinist's scale w/ worn out case, one battle scarred Swiss army knife (same model as the two new ones still in packages), Streamlight compact LED pen light, US made Diamond brand 4" adjustable wrench, Coast brand high power miniature LED flash light, and last but not least is the freebee pen/touch screen stylus combo.

Leaving out the price of the spare knives, I could still throw in the price on sale for the 7" tablet computer that I took the photo with and composed and sent this post with and still have enough change out of the $150.00 to buy a case of beer.

:idea2: Maybe we should start a survey........:idea2:

I vote
Not a tool. but
If you are a DIY guy, and like tools and mechanical things and your group of friends also do. It would just be Cool to wear. Cooler than all that crap Richard Rawlings wears around on Fast and Loud looking like the wristy version of Mr T.
And yes for the price it is a status symbol and Jewelry not a screw driver.

call it what you will, I've needed the screwdrivers a few times and wasn't afraid to scratch it up a little doing so, and yes, it does look bad@ss
