whats that? Nitrous?

Air shifter. It already runs 3.90's in a football field so it don't need the bottle. This bike also held the national sand drag record for a long time also for the fastest Quad on gas. .

Iam not yet. But the guy I bought it from is. I just got it last weekend. He said it's been sitting for all most a year. Doesn't look like it tho !

Where does your feet go

Look right below the pipes. It has lowered foot pegs for more comfort. You can see the pipe bracket that bolts to the pegs.

Well the carbon fiber / blue Banshee is making its maiden voyage Saturday to cars and coffee. Got most of it back together. Just have to bolt the rear fender on, change handlebars, and bleed the brakes. We are also taking the barstool racer and my dad is driving his toy also. Will get some pics with everything together if it doesn't rain.

Made it to cars and coffee AND also made my first pass on it. It was extremely bumpy so this was not a all out pass but it ran great.

And the Dirtbike sold in 3 days !

So.................. We are going Sand Drag Racing saturday in Atoka, OK for their fall nationals. Been away way to long and im due for it.

Love the sound of some unsilenced out of frame pipes, looking pretty good as well! Any idea what has been done to the banshee motor wise?

We think its a 4 mill. Other than that not a clue. Only reason for that is we pulled the reed cages last night and took a peek with a mirror and saw hot rods so it is not stock. Guy i got it from bought the engine complete. It also has a full drag trans.............. N-2-3-4-5 with 1st and 6th deleted. And you dont use the clutch to shift. I'm still on a huge learning curve it will run mid 4's when i get the lockup clutch set and gearing set right finally. I was getting 5.0x's with it not leaving correctly.

And i literally just bought it a few days prior to this new topic !

Hot rods does make a stock stroke crank, however if it has been torn down it is more than likely at least a 4mil long rod, I literally just got one of those back from getting some work done yesterday. One thing to note with the overide transmission (drag only no clutch shifting) make sure anytime you are not on the throttle to pull the clutch in not sure if the previous owner mentioned it or not but better safe than sorry any way the way the trans gets cut dose not allow it to accept back load or you can bend shift forks or worse.

I can tell you that it has a cool head, v force reeds, and an aftermarket intake that the carbs go into. But from what I can see you might still have the stock carbs and those are only good up to about 80 horsepower :lolgoku: And I am sure it has some form of porting done to it, guaranteed if it has a stroker crank.

Actually my friend ive known forever and go racing forever has had these things since he was a kid. He told me about the transmission. And yes i dont let it backload at all. It does have hand ports. The previous owner said it made 76hp to the rear tires. But its all here say of course. Dont remember what carbs are on it.

My buddies bike makes 160+hp. And he is the one that i got the swingarm and other misc. stuff from. He always has parts laying around from mild to whatever. If i had $2500 i would just put his 472 trex in my bike and call it done !

pic is his trex.........................

472 T-Rex, Complete motor w/polished Keihins setup for gas, power valves, polished cylinders, polished cases, polished DD lockup cover, polished billet stator cover, polished manifolds, polished T-Rex head. Complete transmission non-override, setup for dunes. Comes with stator & flywheel, complete. $2500
