Hopefully im able to get some help when needed when i restore my karts ! I have a rupp d300 narrow hoop with a 580 westbend engine , a rupp dart a bone kart narrow hoop , (project ) recently acquired and a rupp chaparral. I’ve always been very interested in karting / vintage karting , and now I have a garage I can finally get my projects started !! Two need some serious restoration but I’ve got lots of time to do it properly. Both karts also came with some good parts on them already. Just started tearing down the red kart to take all the paint off weld some holes that were drilled , replace floor pan, and strip paint off original parts. the chaparral needs a new front axel , it was wrecked on front left axel and needs a new one rewelded , I know some people have jigs for the vintage karts so I’ve got to be patient on that one I don’t know the correct degrees and where to get a new front axel. What color should I paint the red kart ? Does anyone know of the paint codes of rupps ?

I don't know the paint codes they used, however, looking around it's apparently close to General Motors Victory Red and Ruby Red Metallic. Victory Red Paint code is WA9260. Ruby Red Metallic WA681R.
