Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Haven't built a cart in 8-10 years but stumbled across this site while looking at another site.
I was fortunate to have a full machine shop in my backyard when I was a kid so building carts and mini bikes is what we all did. I only have one left and it is at my parents’ house. My dad wants to keep it for the grandkids; I will try to snap some pics of it next time I stop by. It's nothing special, the frame is a road frame my dad got for me about 25 years ago when I was pretty small. About 10 years ago I cut it apart and extended it so that I could still fit in it, built a new seat added a rear brake from a motorcycle, and then took it to my buddies auto body shop for a coat of "Inferno Red" with a pearl coat.
Reading all of these threads makes me want to fire up the welders and start a new project. I might do an off road cart to keep up at my cabin....
