Hi,

I am a new member. I have the bug to pick up a hobby. I use to have a nice modded Dodge Ramcharger, hence the call name. I reside in MI. I always loved go-karts as a kid. I had a mini-bike and my buddy had the kart. Fast forward to 25 and my buddy had a brand new Razor and I was hooked. Not having $15k to spend on something like that when I could be buying a car :mad2:

I've made a pre-runner bar that I placed in a state wide competition that I fabricated in high school shop class. I went to college for welding and was certified in arc and MIG for a couple of years. I jumped right into the corporate world and haven't left the roller chair since :roflol: I've done odd and end jobs since college for family/ friends. I just welded a mower deck this summer :ack2:

I'd like to build a buggy from Badland Buggy. I am torn on models they offer because of my size. I am 6'7'' so...haha.

It's between the sabertooth and long travel. I don't want to get to deep given I have a wedding coming up and a bathroom remodel in progress. As stupid as it sounds, I want to be able to take it down a trail. So I may have to mod it so it has electronic ignition, racks and large fuel tanks..etc.

So my immediate questions are what to power it with, remembering how to cope pipe (need to buy one or build one) and bending tubing (need one of them too :wai:).

The neighbor kid by my parents has 1972 Kawasaki F11 parts bike that has a 250 cc 2 stroke on it. He says the oil injector on it, but disconnected. He likes firearms and is legal to have one. I think he'd trade for one that I have 3 of :cheers2:. I am not sure on the two stroke and the add oil to the gas if the oil injector can't be hooked up.

Thoughts?

I'd also tried to google some stuff, I'd like to read stuff on:

-Building your own notch jig.
-Feed back on the plans I presented.
-Hand shift/clutch pedal set-up for something like this.

Hints, tips, links, pictures of your builds, blue prints...hijack that this thread I am a sponge.
