First of all thank you for the approval to the page ...... Now, I just bought a what I have found is a manco super Deuce or a regular Deuce... it has the tecumseh motor but im having problems with the mechanical brakes and want to upgrade to hydraulic and change the motor to a predator 212cc or ghost. The motor has a different carb and is a pain to get it dialed in because its missing the linkages

What’s the carburetor it has now?
What’s the problem with the mechanical brakes? Needs pads?

I think the OHM120 is a 12 hp engine so it would behoove you to replace the engine with a similar engine and not a smaller one like a 212cc (6.5hp). That is a big heavy “kart” (more buggy than kart) so it needs a more beastly engine to move all that weight.

Aside from that, I am a big proponent of fixing what you have instead of loading up the new parts cannon. Fix it first, learn, then upgrade later on down the line.
