new to the forum and starting my first build

hey guys my name is Mustafa. i love building cars and always wanted to build a kart but other projects and school got in the way. well now its summer and well i all i have is work so i found a frame and purchased it along with a briggs and straton 5.0 hp motor for 5 bucks ( the motor runs very well btw), and trying to make this thing work and get it to move on its own.

this is my first ever kart build and the plan with this is to make this thing drift so i don't have to abuse my Z all the time.

i know i need to get new wheels and tires, rear axle assembly, brake assembly and many other things the problem is i don't know where to start looking for parts and what to look for when trying to purchase parts, the previous owner did not know what kind of frame it is but, thru my research it seems like go karts are universal (correct me if I'm wrong), but my main concern is getting this rear axle and brake assembly.

i hope you guys can help me with this build and guide me in the right direction and get this thing working.

i know crappy quality pics but I was just too excited and too lazy to grab the canon.

now like i stated before where should i look and buy a rear axle assembly for my kart. also brake assembly as well. i measured the width of the space where the axle would go and it was exactly 2 feet or 24 inches i don't know if that helps but i wanted to throw that out there.
