Hi all from Brussels Belgium .
Been looking to Get into DIY Karts .
Seen so many Sick creations online , but never see any around my way.
Being in Europe ; the only thing you find are race Karts very few Off road .
I'm here to learn as much as I can to get started .

Startup list Need :
Tube Bender
Tube Nocher
Mig welding machine
Disc grinder
Disc cutter
Press drill with vice
Vice

I'm sure I'm Missing a bunch of stuff . If you see any tools I'm missing or will need please let me know ...

Off course thank you ... that goes without saying .
Also need some angle Magnets & angle gauge .
And ear protection ,gloves etc .
Not sure What size tube to use & Die to get yet .

And lots of clamps. Plenty of people will help with the tube size.

welcome to the forum! i think thats a good start. youll fin yourself needing somthing and buying it thats how i did it. i was just like well a ______ would be nice right about now.

Sounds like you are going to be building it from scratch. That is quite a list of tools. Welcome to the forum. Keep us posted as you aquire these pieces, and start building your kart.

Welcome! And I love your guy’s sprouts! Skip getting a tubing notcher and use a grinder instead. It will be faster!

Thanks guy . Sprouts are good but wait till you have them with Muscles hahaha JK .

I still haven't bought anything . Just mapping out what all this is gonna cost me . as I'd like to see this thing all the way thru . and not just have an unfinished project and a bunch of tools sitting in garage ...
I would like Build it from " " scratch " " taking a few parts from a race Kart.
I like the idea of a crat / stool / drift kart Maybe even rat rod it out with a wheelbarrow ... But I'm getting way ahead off myself ...
would love to build a barbie jeep but that Look like a really advanced build.

still working out a few thing in my head :
• Steering column (Short , 2 peice adjustable , 6 holes boss , )
• Pedal board for manual clutch . pedal box are crazy crazy expensive
• Knuckles , Race Karts look fragile and extend way past the bend line . all the off the shelf stuff i see look weak
• Axel size? ... is it possible to cut / shorten it ?

As for most motorised things I wish I was in America . you guy have access to a lot of Beautiful parts .
Importing TAX really kills my Puchasing power .
