Hey everyone,
Somewhat new to mini bikes. Last year I bought two stock mini-bikes for real cheap. The motovoxMBX10 and a monster moto. Both 80CC.
This week after some waiting I swapped a 212CC predator on one of them. Long story short I’m mechanically inclined enough to do the swap, however I quickly learned that baby transfers torque quickly. I’m Sure I’m not the only one to earn some scratches the hard way hahah.
My question- the bike is FAST- is there anyway to make it more manageable from a stand still? I’ve been reading on TC, adjust the gear ratio, etc. I don’t care so much about top speed as much as I do riding around with flipping me off it haha. My son rides he 80CC and we just want to tool around off/on road around our neighborhood and our property. Right now- this thing is nuts hahah. Any suggestions or if anyone can point me to an article on here that would be awesome. Just want management acceleration without adding a wheelie bar Lol. Thank you!!!!
There are a fair amount on hills around is- the 80CC could carry my fat *** (220) up some hills with some help from my foot. Just want to have some fun and not flip me off the bike. I did learn quickly go easy on the throttle lol.
