Hello everyone, I was given a mtd tree chipper /Shredder with a 5 hp motor. I got the engine running and realized it was fun. Then realized I don’t have any trees that needed trimming.... so decided I needed to build a mini bike. Found two mini chopper frames one for 50 bucks and another for 40. Currently I’m in the process of learning 12 v wiring issues and getting the choppers road worthy

Ha ha! That's one of the best first intro stories ever. :D

My nod is going to the bike on the right, for its radically long forks and faux springer suspension look.

I guess you're going to need powerplants that have charging and alternator coils.

:welcome2:

Thanks guys, yeah well the one with the fake springer looking front end came with a 49cc 2 stroke motor pretty much a weed eater haha I got a new carb off amazon and got it running with a super quickly made temp gas tank and drove it around enough to get the carb adjusted right.

My original plan for the chopper with the larger wheels was to put the 5 hp engine on it. But you bring up a good point about lights and turn signals

That's a cool peanut gas tank. As for lights and such, they're nice but not totally necessary. I say just "engine" them and ride 'em hard.

That's funny. You chime in to someone else's thread just to toot your own horn.

Got nuthin constructive to add, huh?

Come on Budget! That's bad form.
