Hi,
Just bought an old kart for the kids, almost on a whim really. It is a fixer-upper, and it is starting to be more work then I had anticipated! I bought it cheap and thought all I needed to do was get new tires, new chain, tune up and mount the engine, and be good to go.
Now I am finding brake problems, steering problems, and axle issues that I wasn't planning on. Hoping with y'all's expertise I can get it up and running for the kiddos, but if not, I'm going to sell it and see if I can find something a little more turn-key for the money.
I'm no stranger to mechanics when it comes to cars and trucks, but I really am not familiar with karts and small engines at all and am having to learn it all as I go.
Thanks!
