I've never had a go kart, now I'm building my boys one. I've got several questions i just have to find the right thread to ask them.

You don't need to build a kart, I see you already have two.:p

There's no need to find the "right thread" to ask questions in--you make your own. Or for answers, there's a bazillion answers to questions you might think are unique but chances are they've already been asked...years ago.

I would suggest starting a project thread to contain all your photos, inquiries and progress.

And enough engines and tires to make a few more...
Keeping my options open.

What engine will you put on the kart? The frame seems to have been from a golf cart. Nice kart doe. How much did you pay for it? The rear wheels dont seem big enough for you to need a torque convertor unless you'll be going offroad. A good engine for that would be like a Predator 212cc engine or a 420cc engine depends how much money your willing to spend.

Settle down boy! Calm Down! Sit! There are no golf carts in that picture any where nor are there any parts. Yes those tires and rims could be used on one though.
Oh yea! I almost forgot welcome to the Nut House. Crayons and coloring books are in the corner. A nurse will be by shortly with your meds.

Chill out okay the wheels seem like they came of a golf cart and the things that hold the wheels and some other parts from the bottom of the front look like their from a golf cart. I had one in the past so yeah I know how that stuff looks okay. For your information I said it seems like it could have been from a golf cart. So yeah I never said it's a golf cart frame I said it could've been and it seems like it.

Calm down. It's ok. I sold and serviced golf carts for 12 years and have owned thousands and still have a bunch. So what who actually cares? I'm sorry to have ruffled your feathers, but we do not know how much this guy knows about things so there is no need to send him possibly down a wrong path.

What is it with screwdrivers? Yeah, sure, you use them a lot, but how come when you own 50, you can't find ONE! when you need it.

I think they are related to caulking guns! ( Those things just migrate under their own power!)

I probably have about 90 flatheads and 3 phillips. I swear theres a screwdriver gnome running off with them.

Ive also lost/ forgot a grinder outside once. Lost it in the fall, found it in the spring. RIP Skil grinder, 2010-2014.

My screwdrivers work together...when I need Phillips, they hide and send the flatheads to the front line. Turn about for when I need a flathead (for prying or chiselling).

Some people want to kill the penny. I say eliminate flat slot screws...

I have a 10 hp tecumseh I stuck on there. I was going to use a 212 predator but I wanted a little extra power it's a heavy kart. When I bought it one rear tire was on it the rest were stacked up. I think they are golf cart tires. The hubs they bolt on to may be off a golf cart I don't know. Supposedly his friend had drove the kart a few months prior, after messing with the rear end and the engine there is no way!! Axle wouldn't move and engine gushed oil. I think I have 125 for it.

Nice but from my previous experiences I like to stay away from Techumses. What engine did it previously have? What do you mean by the sentence: " I think I have 125 for it"?
