Hello, I just picked up a Manco Intruder for my girlfriend's daughter to play with.

Before we purchased, I did some research on other models that we were going to look at. Unfortunately, they were not as advertised and I was heading home 5 hours later with an empty trailer. Long story short, my girlfriend called on the Manco and we were 10 minutes away, so we looked at it. I didn't care for the steering, but it was too clean to pass, so we took it home.

After getting it home I dug into it for some maintenance, after taking it for a quick ride of course. I was pleasantly surprised how similar the CVT systems are to snowmobiles. This peaked my interest, as I have been into clutching snowmobiles for years. So, I see some tweaking in the near future!

I did have a concern, and will post in a separate thread.

Welcome to the forum!!

Yes, torque converters (CVT) are very much the same as snowmobile CVT's, and they work on similar principals
