have 2 kids and getting into karts. picked up these 2 this past weekend. one running and one needs a clutch.

I have already rebuilt seats on the green one. it has a 212cc tool shed engine.

black one has a 212cc predator engine.

let the fun begin... and perhaps live axle conversions/TC's!

Measure the rear of your kart

...from the outside of one the rear wheels to the other

...purchase an axle (hopefully that will work with some of your other parts) (bearings, hubs, wheels etc.)

If it's not a live axle now, some welding & other modifications may need to be done, to get 'er mounted

Are you having a problem with the factory Manco set up?

1 wheel peel... digging ditches in the yard! ha! not ideal for an off road kart

I'd go for tubed axle in your case..

and it's not that hard, since half of the contraption is done already ;)

As FA said, measure from one end to the other and buy an axle of that or slightly longer lengths.
Then measure the axle tube you have on the left side (ID and OD!) and buy a similar one as well.
a set of flanged bearings or copy the bearing retainers you have on the existing tube (maybe nicer!)
basically mirror the left side to the right effectively.

just a free truning axle might not serve you well
since you need to cut the center rails, which will affect stability of the rear end.

You don't have to cut that wire to the sensor.... You can just unplug it...
You can also use that relay as a kill switch without cutting or splicing in...
Just wire inline to ground a momentary push button switch..pretty easy aswell...

brake working now. engine swap complete with new TC. new seat installed with wood for now.

test drive complete! used 3rd hole on driven pulley. its pulling some steeper long hills with ease.
