I have been reading here for a while and decided to join. I am building a fun kart for my son and will be no doubt asking some questions. So far I have a Corvette body some wheels and tires and a motor with a tav2 30 torque converter. I will be building my own frame and roll cage and all of the drive and steering components to keep the price down. I spent enough on the torque converter. See pics below on the progress
