New to go karts GOT THIS FOR FREE!

Hey everybody, I just picked up this go kart from a lady who just wanted it gone. It has been sitting for a while but I just got the tecumseh motor to run after cleaning the carb. My plan is to restore it, have a little fun with it, then sell it and make some money off of it.

As of right now the definite problems that I can tell are:

Needs new tires
Rust spots that I am in the process of sanding now
Prime/Paint
Engine needs a new pull start system (broke from me pulling it)
I took a look and the caliper looks pretty worn (cant seem how to take it off)

I am open to any recommendations on the entire project! I also would love to know what kind of go kart this is!

new brake pucks (caliper should just unbolt into two pieces, or slides off with the disc)
new bearings
sand and paint
clean torque converter
put some slime in the tires and make sure they are not dry rotted.
new throttle cable

I like to use the rustoleum 'professional' spray paint (comes in silver cans with colored tops), comes in bright good looking colors and only need 1 coat of primer and 1 coat of paint. goes on real nice.

okay thanks! do you think I am fine with keeping the tecumseh engine? And by chance do you know what kind of go kart this is or if it is a decent go kart?

I figured it was pretty nice since it came with the roll cage and all.

I've never seen anything like it so, I can't help with the ID... it looks kinda cool though...

Depending on exactly what's wrong with the starter, it's most likely fixable... & will be easier to fix than replace...

I have seen these for sale several times in my area. Plenty of info and help at DIY.

I agree with tyger, ,looks like a murray, I used to have a red one with the same frame design
