Looking for info on what I have? Any one can help me? I got this for the right price. I stripped it and am ready for paint. Going to get my son out and teach him control. The stickers were all rubbed off. I read somewhere that u could find a number in the inside of the spindle. No luck. What I did find was a sticker that said engineered in USA. Built in china. Any help?

Thanks! I’m trying to figure out what I can do to finish it
Condition is fairly good. You got an engine? Wiring on Chinese karts and ATVs can be a mess. But normally finding parts is pretty easy. Sometimes you can find their ‘genuine’ parts on Amazon. Go through all the bolts (especially on the suspension) and make sure it’s tight. Make sure the tires hold air, make sure the brakes have clean fluid and are not spongy, and make sure the wheel bearings spin well. There’s more than that but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

I’ve gone through it all. Ordered all new bolts. I want this cart to be a good one.

Condition is really good. I’m sandblasting what little rust. Paint will be gone. Gonna got it with some good paint. Get ready to put it all back together. No I don’t have a motor or tranny yet. Need to identify it or figure out if I need to modify mounts and such. Would be easier to know what I have. That’s my issue.

If you Google go kart GY6 engine a bunch of stuff will come up. GY6 is the type or style of engine your kart came with. 150cc is a popular size. New replacement units are available. There are a couple of members on here that are very knowledgeable about these engines and the suppliers that carry them.
I am not one of them. Brand of the kart might be a Hammerhead. It is a late model Chinese product. Engine is probably of generic origen.
