On the test ride the throttle got stuck open and the brake only slowed me down a little bit. I had to run over a couple bushes in the neighbor's yard to get stopped. The brake was smoking. It was a **** of a good first ride. Lol

THIS is exactly why I put a kill switch on the steering wheel.

Do you have a good return spring setup? Here are a couple of mine for reference

Yea, return spring is good, original linkage was built from the paperclip and it broke the end off, the sharp remnant of it dug into the butterfly on the carb at wide open, that has been fixed now.
